摘要:

Although numerous advances have been made in information technology in the past decades, there is still a lack of progress in information systems dynamics (ISD), owing to the lack of a mathematical foundation needed to describe information and the lack of an analytical framework to evaluate information systems. The value of ISD lies in its ability to guide the design, development, application, and evaluation of large-scale information system-of-systems (SoSs), just as mechanical dynamics theories guide mechanical systems engineering. This paper reports on a breakthrough in these fundamental challenges by proposing a framework for information space, improving a mathematical theory for information measurement, and proposing a dynamic configuration model for information systems. In this way, it establishes a basic theoretical framework for ISD. The proposed theoretical methodologies have been successfully applied and verified in the Smart Court SoSs Engineering Project of China and have achieved significant improvements in the quality and efficiency of Chinese court informatization. The proposed ISD provides an innovative paradigm for the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of large-scale complex information systems, such as electronic government and smart cities.

Molecular level simulations on multi-component systems —a morphology prediction method

摘要: The crystal morphology grown from a solution composed of an organic solvent, solute and additive can be predicted reliably by a computational method. Modeling the supersaturated solution as liquid phase is achieved by employing commercial software. The molecular composition of this solution is a required input parameter. The face specific diffusion coefficient of the solid (crystal surface) and liquid (solution) system is determined using the molecular dynamics procedure. The obtained diffusion coefficient is related to the specific face growth rate via the attachment energy of the pure morphology. The significant improvements are achieved in the morphology prediction because the investigation on the face growth rates in a complex growth environment (as multi-component solutions with additives) can be carried out based on the diffusion coefficients.

摘要:

基于非线性系统线性化后得到外部动态与内模动态,设计一种线性化观测器,使得当摄动参数在有限范围内任意取值时,观测器误差渐近为零。并且利用在有限时间到达平衡点的连续滑动模态,设计一种连续形式的高增益滑模控制器,使得实际输出与参考输出的差渐近收敛到零。稳定性分析和仿真试验表明,该控制系统具有较强的鲁棒性和快速收敛性。

Advances in Active Suspension Systems for Road Vehicles

摘要: Active suspension systems (ASSs) have been proposed and developed for a few decades, and have now once again become a thriving topic in both academia and industry, due to the high demand for driving comfort and safety and the compatibility of ASSs with vehicle electrification and autonomy. Existing review papers on ASSs mainly cover dynamics modeling and robust control; however, the gap between academic research outcomes and industrial application requirements has not yet been bridged, hindering most ASS research knowledge from being transferred to vehicle companies. This paper comprehensively reviews advances in ASSs for road vehicles, with a focus on hardware structures and control strategies. In particular, state-of-the-art ASSs that have been recently adopted in production cars are discussed in detail, including the representative solutions of Mercedes active body control (ABC) and Audi predictive active suspension; novel concepts that could become alternative candidates are also introduced, including series active variable geometry suspension, and the active wheel-alignment system. ASSs with compact structure, small mass increment, low power consumption, high-frequency response, acceptable economic costs, and high reliability are more likely to be adopted by car manufacturers. In terms of control strategies, the development of future ASSs aims not only to stabilize the chassis attitude and attenuate the chassis vibration, but also to enable ASSs to cooperate with other modules (e.g., steering and braking) and sensors (e.g., cameras) within a car, and even with high-level decision-making (e.g., reference driving speed) in the overall transportation system—strategies that will be compatible with the rapidly developing electric and autonomous vehicles.

Multi-time scale dynamics in power electronics-dominated power systems

摘要:

Electric power infrastructure has recently undergone a comprehensive transformation from electromagnetics to semiconductors. Such a development is attributed to the rapid growth of power electronic converter applications in the load side to realize energy conservation and on the supply side for renewable generations and power transmissions using high voltage direct current transmission. This transformation has altered the fundamental mechanism of power system dynamics, which demands the establishment of a new theory for power system control and protection. This paper presents thoughts on a theoretical framework for the coming semiconducting power systems.

Dynamics of structural systems with various frequency-dependent damping models

The aim of this paper is to present the dynamic analyses of the system involving various damping models. The assumed frequency-dependent damping forces depend on the past history of motion via convolution integrals over some damping kernel functions. By choosing suitable damping kernel functions of frequency-dependent damping model, it may be derived from the familiar viscoelastic materials. A brief review of literature on the choice of available damping models is presented. Both the mode superposition method and Fourier transform method are developed for calculating the dynamic response of the structural systems with various damping models. It is shown that in the case of non-deficient systems with various damping models, the modal analysis with repeated eigenvalues are very similar to the traditional modal analysis used in undamped or viscously damped systems. Also, based on the pseudo-force approach, we transform the original equations of motion with nonzero initial conditions into an equivalent one with zero initial conditions and therefore present a Fourier transform method for the dynamics of structural systems with various damping models. Finally, some case studies are used to show the application and effectiveness of the derived formulas.

空中交通延误传播动力学的时空网络视角 Article

由于日益增长的空中交通需求与有限的空域容量之间的不平衡,空中交通出现了难以解决的延误。由于空中交通与复杂的航空运输系统有关,延误可以在这些系统中被放大和传播,从而导致所谓的延迟传播的紧急行为。对延误传播动力学的理解与现代空中交通管理有着密切的关系。本文提出了一种复杂的网络延迟传播动力学观点。具体来说,我们利用以机场为节点的时空网络对空中交通场景进行建模。为了建立节点间的动态边缘,我们提出了一种时延传播方法,并将其应用于给定的空中交通调度集合。基于所构建的时空网络,提出了三个指标(幅度、严重性和速度)来衡量延迟传播动态。为了验证该方法的有效性,我们对东南亚地区(SAR)和美国的国内航班进行了案例研究。实验表明,美国交通延误传播影响的航班数和传播延迟量的传播幅度分别是SAR的5倍和10倍。实验进一步表明,美国交通的传播速度比SAR快8倍。延迟传播动态显示,SAR约6个枢纽机场存在明显的传播延误,而美国的情况则更为严重,相应数量在16个左右。本工作为跟踪空中交通延误的演变提供了有力的工具。

高速列车耦合大系统动力学研究

根据高速铁路结构和技术特点,把高速列车以及与之相关并影响其动力学性能的线路、气流、供电和接触网等耦合系统作为一个统一的大系统,通过建立高速列车、线路、弓网及供电等子系统动力学模型,以及轮轨、弓网、流固和机电等耦合关系模型,形成高速列车耦合大系统动力学模型。针对高速列车运行模拟要求,给出基于循环变量方法的列车动力学建模及计算方法、基于滑移模型的车线耦合计算方法、基于松弛因子的流固耦合计算方法,实现高速列车耦合大系统动力学仿真。

Real-time immune-inspired optimum state-of-charge trajectory estimation using upcoming route information

The main proposition of the current investigation is to develop a computational intelligence-based framework which can be used for the real-time estimation of optimum battery state-of-charge (SOC) trajectory in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). The estimated SOC trajectory can be then employed for an intelligent power management to significantly improve the fuel economy of the vehicle. The devised intelligent SOC trajectory builder takes advantage of the upcoming route information preview to achieve the lowest possible total cost of electricity and fossil fuel. To reduce the complexity of real-time optimization, the authors propose an immune system-based clustering approach which allows categorizing the route information into a predefined number of segments. The intelligent real-time optimizer is also inspired on the basis of interactions in biological immune systems, and is called artificial immune algorithm (AIA). The objective function of the optimizer is derived from a computationally efficient artificial neural network (ANN) which is trained by a database obtained from a high-fidelity model of the vehicle built in the Autonomie software. The simulation results demonstrate that the integration of immune inspired clustering tool, AIA and ANN, will result in a powerful framework which can generate a near global optimum SOC trajectory for the baseline vehicle, that is, the Toyota Prius PHEV. The outcomes of the current investigation prove that by taking advantage of intelligent approaches, it is possible to design a computationally efficient and powerful SOC trajectory builder for the intelligent power management of PHEVs.

Research and practice on system engineering management of a mobile payment project

摘要: The popularization of the mobile internet has given rise to demand for flexible and convenient payment methods. For China, it is necessary to keep pace with or even lead the trend of innovation and development in the age of mobile payment. From the perspective of systems engineering, this paper introduces research and implementation of China UnionPay’s mobile payment project. The general requirements and core engineering problems of the mobile payment project are summarized based on analyses of the characteristics and engineering difficulties of this project. Integration of innovative technologies is introduced to resolve the contradiction between ease-of-use and security. A rapid iterative development process is adopted to improve the product release efficiency as well as the users' experience. The launch of the mobile payment project also opens the window to coordinating and upgrading the whole payment industry chains.

Computational fluid dynamics simulation of aerosol transport and deposition

摘要: In this article computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of aerosol transport and deposition, i.e. the transport and deposition of particles in an aerosol, is reviewed. The review gives a brief account of the basics of aerosol mechanics, followed by a description of the general CFD approach for flow field simulation, turbulence modeling, wall treatments and simulation of particle motion and deposition. Then examples from the literature are presented, including CFD simulation of particle deposition in human respiratory tract and particle deposition in aerosol devices. CFD simulation of particle transport and deposition may provide information that is difficult to obtain through physical experiments, and it may help reduce the number of experiments needed for device design. Due to the difficulty of describing turbulent flow and particle-eddy interaction, turbulent dispersion of particles remains one of the greatest challenges for CFD simulation. However, it is possible to take a balanced approach toward quantitative description of aerosol dispersion using CFD simulation in conjunction with empirical relations.

我国天基信息系统发展现状及未来展望

作为获取信息资源的重要手段,天基信息系统服务于国防和经济建设,正朝着一体化、动态化、实时化、智能化方向发展。本文立足中国航天长远发展,以文献调研、专家咨询为研究手段,详细开展国外天基信息系统发展现状梳理与总结;凝练我国在本领域的政策、产业、装备和技术发展情况,并对天基信息系统的未来发展趋势进行概括;重点分析了我国天基信息系统面临的体制机制、政策保障、技术能力、产业发展等短板问题。研究建议,完善体制机制来统筹协调天基信息系统资源,健全法律法规来引导天基信息系统产业发展,突出技术创新来建设天基信息实时服务系统,创新发展理念来构建天基信息实时服务。
